Keychain

The challenge on Kona Kid right now is 'anything goes' leaving the options to my imagination. Here is a keychain I made for a friend of ours to enter in the challenge. It took a couple of tries because I had used the wrong wire and it didn't stay round like it was supposed to, but in the end I was able to get it the way I wanted it. Mom had to help a bit with the charm, but I knew how I wanted it and she had to do it exactly right.

Wax Flower

Recently we got some cheese that was wrapped in round wax, so when we were eating breakfast yesterday I thought it would be creative to design something using the wax coverings. In the end, it all turned into a flower that really closely resembles a tulip. It took a bit of work, but its still a handmade flower using something that most people just throw away!

And since the new challenge on Kona Kids is anything goes, I thought I could enter my flower to the challenge.
